Labrix offers Vitamin D BloodDrop testing, a convenient and accurate serum testing methodology researched and developed for convenient, home collection of the patient sample without the inconvenience of venipuncture.

 

How does Vitamin D BloodDrop™ testing work?

You order the test kits from Labrix for your patients. The test kit contains everything needed for sample collection. The patient uses a lancet to pierce a finger (similar to the procedure for glucose testing) and then allows drops of blood to fall onto a collection card. When the collection card is dry the patient will package up the sample and return to the lab using the prepaid shipping provided (check box if it has UPS or US Mail prepaid shipping).
